When I stumbled upon this series on Netgalley I was instantly interested. I've been looking for a book with a great mix of action and romance and with this book I found that and so much more.

The great thing about this book was the fact that throughout the book the POV changed and constantly and we got to know not only Nate and Ali, but the other guys in the Black Knight crew as well. And the best part? I wasn't confused at all. It worked perfectly with the story and I really enjoyed seeing what drama was going on with the other characters.

I haven't rooted for a couple as much as I did for Nate and Ali in a long time. There was something about their romance, their yearning for each other that seemed so real to me. Ali thinks Nate can't stand her so in return she ignores him as well. But in reality Nate acts like that because he promised Ali's older brother he wouldn't do anything with her despite that touching her is exactly what he wants to do. I think their biggest problem was communication. If they only talked more and really said how they felt from the beginning they probably wouldn't have all the problems they did during the book.

Action packed, sexy men, bad ass girls, and a page turning plot, what's not to love about this series? Hell on Wheels is the first in the Black Knight Inc series and I can't wait to start reading what happens next!

I love a good action with a hint of romance and this book delivered a good start to a new series. Great characters and they are all very real, showing the true life of this great agents. They have no fear and they all know exactly what to do.

I liked the romance between Nate and Ali. It’s very interesting to know both off them are in love with each other, but don’t act on it because of Grigg, Ali’s big brother and an agent like Nate.

Nate is a sniper and his best friend and partner Grigg died in a very hard way, but he couldn’t forget himself and accept the blame for the mission going wrong, but he doesn’t know that it was all a set up.

Ali is very sweet and knows how hard and difficult her brother used to live. She doesn’t knew his secrets, but the way he died was definitely connected with his job.

So when Ali start to get suspicious that somebody is following her and shows up on Nate door asking for help things start to look strange and really wrong.

I loved the investigation and enjoyed meeting the rest of the Black Knights. It’s very interesting to see they pretend to be just mechanics and experts on bikes, but on reality is all a bogus for their real job.

The romance was just okay for me, because Nate was really hard on himself and didn’t try to win Ali at all, but she's very determined and fought for what she wanted.

So the romance was not the best part of the book, but I liked the investigation and meeting the rest of the gang.

Wow. I’m officially a fan of Julie Ann Walker and the Black Knights Inc. series.

I have to start off by saying, my heart completely broke for Nate. What he went through and what he had to do…it’s just unimaginable. I also really admire Ali for all she had to go through in the book. I don’t know how I would have handled what she went through. There were a few scenes between that brought me to tears.
Spoiler One in particular was Ali asking if Nate missed Grigg. Another was Nate’s flashback/nightmare. I couldn’t blink the tears back when reading it.

I loved Nate and Ali together. They had great chemistry.

This book is definitely action packed (as you would expect from former military characters). Nate was fiercely protective of Ali. I loved his reactions every time she insisted on being involved in the case. (Rightfully so…she was the one everything was happening to).

The author did a great job making me care about all the people at Black Knight’s Inc. The POV did jump between characters, but I didn’t have a problem with that. It just made me care about them more
Spoilerexcept the bad guy…his POV just made me hate him more…which was a good thing. He was completely awful and deserved worse than Grigg endured
. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series to find out what happens to them.

This is my first read from this author. I listened to this story on audible. The narrator's voices were irritating and took away from my enjoyment of the story. The overall story was pretty good, but I wanted to slap several of the characters for being oblivious to things that we painfully obvious.

Love the writing in the book. It flowed very well. Multiple perspectives. Dynamic characters. Didn't like that the main character had a weak stomach.
Main characters= Nate "Ghost" and Ali (Grigg's sister)

I really liked this book. I thought it was action packed, funny, emotional, and down right a good read.

I was cracking up at the internal dialogue as well as all the movie references. Love Ozzie :)

Ali, sweet lovable Ali with the weakest stomach ever. What a ray of light you were to Nate. I loved how you didn't beat around the bush and said what you felt and demanded answers.

Nate "Ghost", what is it about a sexy alpha scarred protector motorcycle man that gets my libido going? Hot damn! Did I think you were an asshole at times? Sure, but I know you had your reasons.

What I didn't like about this book was the insane amount of POV's. I think at one time there were 7? It was hard to keep up. Also, Rebel and Frank's story should have been in their own book. It didn't need to be in Ghost and Ali's story.

Spoiler What happened with the other shooter? Was it Johnny that Ghost shot in the eye in front of the compound? Are they still going to be looking for revenge for killing Rocco and Johnny? or are they just going to let it go?
