Spoiler Alert!
I love Shandy and Angel (the two best side characters in all of history!)!

This left me with a big happy feeling inside. Definitely going to be a comfort read book ❤️

The first person pov really got me with this one. While I am fine with unlikeable characters, I found the main character's thoughts insufferable to listen to. It was intriguing, I wish I could have continued, but it was too much.

I really wanted to like this and I’m not sure if it was because I was listening to the audiobook but it didn’t really capture my attention. Maybe the first 15% did because the descriptions were so good but then there were too many characters and I didn’t really care much about them.

The story itself was fascinating but I didn't love the writing style. For such a dark story it felt pretty juvenile, but that's definitely just a personal preference thing. I was able to look past that while reading though because the story is so action packed.
