Started out as a nice, cutesy little holiday novella that revisited characters from a cutesy fairytale-esque series.  Then there was some unexpected disturbing content that I wasn't a fan of about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way through the book (see graphic content warnings).  Not what I expected from a series and an author that were strictly YA in the past.
