Un cuento sencillo, enternecedor e ideal para los niños. Es precioso.

While this book has appeared on several Best Books 2011 lists, I just don't get it. It's overly preachy and I don't think it's written for kids.

A decent 'growing-up' book, with striking and inventive illustrations. It's a little overly "teachy", but children going through their own growing pains with relate with Pomelo and see themselves in his story.

Feeling neutral about this book. The illustrations are whimsical, but the storyline is just a little 'off'.

I have a soft spot for quirky picture books. While the story meanders quite a bit, the illustrations were adorable and I think the concept would hold the interest of kids curious about growing up, growing bigger, and gaining independence.

November 2017 - Ben is interested in growing/size lately so this hit the spot.

How did it take me so long to discover Pomelo?! I will never understand the less than charming reviews this book has received. It is one of the best picture books I have read this year, with a sweet and humorous look at growing up. I want to run out and buy it for my nieces and nephew and parents and everyone in between.
