I knew this would be a lame attempt to suck a franchise dry. But I read it anyways. So I guess I'm a sucker.

I don't know how one is supposed to have an opinion on something this brief. I knew this was going to be short, but I thought it would at least be the length of a short story. The preview of chapters of the books were longer - but why would I need to preview something I'd already read? Why would anyone buy this if they hadn't read the books? I thought this would be something to tide me over until the final book - not so much. Pretty irritating.

This little snippet from the POV of Tobias just reminded me how very much I love this series and author. Of course, it also made me dread that I have to wait again, some mored, for too long for the 3rd and final book. Something about the way Roth builds the suspense in her writing and makes the characters so real makes me want to read MORE right now!

Oh, wow.

Can we just have a book from Four's perspective?

No offense Tris, but I love your man...

Whoa, Tris, watcha doin' with that knife?

*flails*

*scampers back to Candor and reminds self to shut mouth around the Dauntless*

I've reread this a couple times. I love alternative POV, and getting inside Four's head is interesting. I wish it was longer than just the knife throwing scene, but this was a great choice by VR.

The scene was as expected though she was brave but Tobias sees her better than she honestly is.

Nothing too special, but I do enjoy being inside Four's mind. Plus this is still in Divergent, when the story was still good. Read if you liked the first book.
