I listened to the audio book. I was able to listen through Hoopla. The narration was good. The story was ok.
I don't know if the discrepancy I picked up was due to the narration or the actual story. In the first book, that featured Greer, both Trevia, and Denise had their own special verbal communication. Greer spoke like she just stepped out of corporate america. She could code switch with the best of them.
In this story, Trevia lost a lot of the ethnic verbal flair, and also sounded like she stepped out of corporate America. This was not the impression I got of Trevia from book 1. In this book, Trevia was also a master code switcher. Makes me wonder what to expect from Denise's book.
Trevia and Nyles both had issues. I don't understand how she could be polite to Wes, or even talk to him at all. I don't understand why she didn't tell Nyles about him. I understand the reason she gave, but she had to know that was going to blow up in her face
Nyles was kind of possessive and jealous. He wanted to jump up in everyone's face about Trevia. I guess she never really made him feel secure about their relationship. I did appreciate the texting scene.
I do like that they were both entrepreneurs. I also like the friendship between Greer, Trevia, and Denise. I always appreciate a book when a brother supports a sister.
There were many steamy scenes, romance, and a twist here and there. They got there HEA eventually.

Made to Love was a good read. It was sweet, steamy, and honestly funny at points. Trevia and Nyles were made for each other and I loved how the narrators brought these characters to life. The sweet moments between them were sweet and the steamy moments were steaming. Trevia has a scrub ex, so Nyles has to put in some work and have some patience, but it pays off because like I said before, they were made for each other. I truly love this series so far and the friendship and support between the heroines.
My only complaint is that Trevia kept calling her privates Ms. Kitty, and it took me out of the story every single time. She is too grown to be calling it that, but to each their own ðŸ«
**audible plus catalogue

Men that can use words is attractive. Men that turn stuffy jobs into something sensual is attractive.

Loved it!
I’m really enjoying these storylines! I also love reading about characters that are realistic and not jus perfect and you definitely nailed it! I’m on to book 3!

Wonderful
This was a beautiful story and after all Trevia went through she deserved would be totally okay if she had shot Wesley is his leg at the least but the story concluded beautifully either way.
