I love these simple yet engaging profiles. And I'm particularly captivated by the way my two-and-a-half year old enjoys them, mainly through the illustrations. He points to Jane, wants to know where her mama and daddy are, and loves pointing out different things while I read the text to his older siblings. It's not an obvious recommendation for a toddler, but we've really been enjoying the whole series, and this one in particular was very successful.

Jane Austen is a household name. Her books are still wildly popular and still made into movies and adaptations today. I am so happy to have read this book. I loved learning all about her life.

'Little People, Big Dreams: Jane Austen' by Isabel Sanchez Vegara with art by Katie Wilson tells the life of Jane Austen in a picture book format.

Jane Austen grew up in a big family, but being a girl was kind of a pain. Even though she was a girl, she found ways to learn, and she loved to read. After a relationship ended badly, Jane got the inspiration for one of her greatest books.

I like this series for young readers. The art is all by different artists, and this one was nice. I especially loved the portrait gallery of all the main characters that Jane created. I also liked the picture of Jane Austen outside a modern bookshop named after her. There is plenty in this series to inspire young readers.

Ojalá haber hecho mis primeras inmersiones infantiles a la literatura con libros como los de esta colección.

I LOVED this picture book focused on Jane Austen! The illustrations were cute and Austen's story is told simply without dumbing down the text. I'm officially excited to tear through the entire series. Highly recommend for kids interested (or not) in historical figures!

(General series review) These are fabulous stories about great women and men in history (for the most part). The illustrations are so amazing, both for kids and adults. There is a brief history on the person that explains how this person contributed to history and matters
