I really liked it, but I felt like there were some inconsistencies at points. I also wish that the whole shit with Archer would have been explored more

As much as I liked this the first time, I must honestly say that I somehow totally ignored the cheating in here and I must say that going over it again dampened the experience for me. And as much as I'd like to think that Holden is a jerk who deserves to be beaten up for his stupid attitude, I must say that he didn't deserve to ne cheated on.
I loved reading this again and getting to know these characters again, but Quen and Gray's stupid decisions at points really got on my nerves and made it harder for me to enjoy this as much as I did the last time.

I will officially read every book this author writes. And could I please get the next book soon ? I'm dying and already regretting -but not really- reading this book when the second book isn't even out yet.
I loved every character in this book (except Matt, that sack of rotten potatoes and yeah maybe Hunter and Larkin who lacks a personality tbh) and the plot was very much interesting I was gobbling it up so quick.
If you haven't read this -which clearly all of you haven't- read it now. This is your sign to read this book.

This book provided a lot of what I typically like in a fantasy book. Some darkness and spice with enemies to lovers. I enjoyed the story and some aspects of the characters, however I did feel as though there were a few lacking elements.

I did want to see some more world building, I was confused as to what was going on in the lab. What was the religion about?

I am looking forward to the next book and will be reading to see what happens next as it ended in a cliffhanger. Rounded up to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on Goodreads.

I was provided with an advanced copy for my honest review.

This story takes place during a time when man believes more in the material world rather than the divinity of gods and pray. Elite Gods have descended from the heavens to give man the scientific proof that they need to have faith again. Quentin Scott is one of those charged with collecting all the scientific data. Gray is an elite god. Both of their lives will be tuned upside down the moment they make eye contact. I really did enjoy reading this story I appreciated the fact that the major fight's usually involved the brothers. Gray was the perfect "anti" good guy and Scott is manic pixie dream girl of most guys nightmare. If I could change somethings about this story I would have liked to see more of Archer's scheming. The amount Scott apologizes and her lack of a loyal friend base she does deserve better. I would recommend 100%. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Absolutely positively an amazing read. It honestly has become one of my favorite books, and I already miss Gray, Scott, Erik, Sloan, Elva, Ig, and everyone else who took a piece of my heart

The concept behind this book is so interesting. The characters were all pretty well done as well.
Am I bit salty that the people chosen to study the gods were all in the sciences and not a religious studies scholar or even an anthropologist??? Yes for sure lol.

This has Lucifer (Netflix series) vibes, Eris from the 2003 movie Sinbad AND a bit of Hercules (in terms of Gods and their abilities)
