The book is an enemy to lover romance between the god of chaos Grayson and Doctor Queen Scott as they start to live together as part of the research in the Gods. As they give in to their desires, things start to get complicated as Gray discovers about Scott past and the Gods have internal fights.
I read this with the Everlasting book club (on Instagram -> @everlasting.charmbookclub) for the book for January, and everyone was so excited to read it and loved the vibe in the telegram that it got me hooked quickly.
The ending made me so curious and I can’t wait to read the next book when it comes out this year and see what's gonna happen with Scott after the events in the end and how their relationship with Gray and the other Gods will evolve.
I have been reading romance has some time but I never encounter one with all these characteristics of a new system of power and entities, a strong female protagonist that is imperfect and an enemy to lovers that made me laugh so much.
The writing was easy to read and with a good pace that gives the sense that the book is really short as you read.
When I say enemies to a lover I’m not joking, they use to have the sexual tension with hate and fight to them become more frequently and romantic.
The book is a good reading, it doesn’t demand a lot from the reader, but does not treat us like idiots and romance readers will enjoy this one.
