Variation of Cinderella with Bigfoot characters filling in the roles. Humorous story that kids will enjoy reading. Some harder vocabulary words used, so some students might not understand what it being said.

The Bigfoot prince of the old-growth forest is ready to find his Bigfoot princess, now that it’s time for the annual fun-fest. Rrrrrella would love to go, but her not-so-ugly stepsisters are willing to do whatever it takes to keep her at home, and so she remains there—until her beary godfather comes to the rescue! This takes a fun pacific northwest spin on the classic fairy tale that has so often won the hearts of children and adults alike. Filled with fun, nature-dominant paintings, Bigfoot Cinderrrrrella has a tone unlike any other Cinderella tale. It’s bound to get laughs and giggles, and it’s bound to entertain all ages. Great for grades 2-4.

I enjoyed this retelling of cinderella. The kindergartners loved hearing this version of the story. They enjoyed comparing and contrasting this version to previous version they have heard, or saw.

Retelling of Cinderella with Bigfoot... cute. Didn’t like the illustrations much but they did go with the story very well

I had to do a presentation for my fairy tales class in college. This is the other book. the presentation was on how fairy tales change forms. Mine was directed on changing the female ideal of beauty. I enjoyed this one as well. Another great spin on an tale.
