Ok. Solid not spectacular. Good enough to keep me interested in the series.

A cracker of a book - so much better than "Redbreast" (thank goodness).
I was not going to read another Nesbo so soon but made the mistake of thinking I could easily stop after one or two pages. The story starts in the middle of a bank robbery that goes wildly off-track, underlying themes develop and return through the story (usually when I expect them the least).
The plot is not predictable, and some long running themes remain wonderfully unresolved. There is no easy redemption for Hole.

I'm not entirely sure about "Nemesis" by Jo Nesbo. It's about Harry Hole, a Norwegian police investigator, who investigates the murder of a bank teller during a bank robbery, and the death of a struggling artist (and Hole's ex-lover).
The book itself is a good enough read. It's long (almost 700 pages), but it's an easy enough read. That said, the dénouement was daft, really difficult to believe. If you can accept that fact, you'll like it, if you can't, you won't.
I will say one thing. The Hole series is good, just read the series in order. There are elements that are explained in the later book that it'd be a shame to uncover too soon.
