A difficult, brutal read, the writing itself is musical, cheeky, and vicious. It was hard to get through and I feel it could have been more impactful if it were shorter. But it does a good job of making you feel disgusted with capitalism and it's outputs.

The most excruciating book I ever read, and I did it because it's Jelinek's personal favorite among all her novels, apparently.
