This fast paced romantic suspense will have you devouring it to find out who is stalking the young actress and what will happen between the show’s lead and our main character, retired marine Charlie Ravenel. From start to finish, this book will keep you on your toes and guessing until the very end!

Charlie has been hired as security to protect the young actress on a hit new show entering its second season who is being stalked and threatened. Her mission in security is to always protect the girls after surviving the war torn middle east and the horrors she saw. As the threats escalate, Charlie’s mission becomes even more critical to keeping this young girl safe. Meanwhile sparks are flying between Charlie and Daniel Pierce, the show’s lead. Their behind the scenes chemistry is hot enough to set the place on fire, but both have secrets and pasts that haunt their steps. Only by letting go and trusting each other, can they explore the intense sparks that fly every time they are alone.

You’ll be racing to the end of this delicious read that will leave you wanting more. It is suspenseful and action filled read with a kick-### female lead. The slow burn romance leads to steam that is off the charts HOT. Romance and thriller readers alike will enjoy this title, so long as you enjoy some decadently hot scenes. I look forward to reading more in this series and seeing where things go after the explosive ending. Nothing will ever be the same for any of the characters and there are so many threads to explore in future books.

Another amazing read by Kelly! The badass and the alpha! Charlie devotes her life to protecting women, and she's damn good at it. The newest client has a sexy co-star named Daniel Pierce. Charlie tells him like it is, and he doesn't like it at first, but it attracts him pretty quickly. She tries not to want him, but he gets her to give him a chance, but it's got to stay hidden... no one can know, but trust is comprised. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series!

Charlie Ravenel is a former marine and current bodyguard to young rising actress Kierra Williams on the set of the hit television series The Druid. Charlie's former life is one she'd like to keep a secret not because she's ashamed but because of the pain and tragedies she's faced in her short life. Daniel Pierce is a famous actor and Kierra's co-star who is beloved by all not only due to his work but also because of his charming personality. That's not to say, however, that Daniel doesn't have his own burdens that he'd like to keep out of the spotlight.

In this book, we have a heroine who is badass and confident in her own skin. Charlie is loyal to a fault to the people she cares about and the things she stands up for while being completely rational, even in times of stress. That is what makes her the perfect bodyguard while trying to discover the mystery of who is stalking her. Daniel, on the other hand, is not so much our typical hero in that he doesn't try to convince her that her life is dangerous and that he, the man, ought to be the one protecting her. The only reason he is a threat to Charlie is that he's amazing at breaking down the walls she's been building up the past six years.

I loved the realistic way this book built up the suspense slowly, keeping me on the edge of my seat hoping to solve the mystery of who was stalking Kierra. In reality, this is no short task by any means, and that was reflected in the book with how the author showed the characters' frustration and the tension as they tried to solve the mystery with so many dead ends and close calls.

The tension between Charlie and Daniel was phenomenal and kept me on the edge of my seat, wanting to see how their relationship would progress. Not only are they a wonderful couple who care about each other deeply and help each other to heal from their past traumas, but the chemistry they have is explosive as we see multiple times throughout the entire book. As every couple does, they have their ups and downs throughout it all, but in the end, they know that their love for one another is strong and true.

In short, this book had it all with the steamy romance and the amazing plot. I loved reading this and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the sequel, Hunt Her.

This was my first read from Kelly Finely. I can’t wait to read more of her books. I loved the characters they were written so well. I could picture how badass Charlie was. The plot is fast paced plus the stalking case will keep you in the edge of your seat. But it definitely is a romantic suspense that you will love.

Suspense, action, with a dash of romance. What's not to love? I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down! Charlie is a badass heroine and Daniel is the hot love interest and both have secrets I want to know! The little vague clues we get throughout the book is enough to make me want to read the next book asap! Loved that they both matched each other's intensity, protectiveness and possessive tendencies. I was truly rooting for them the entire time. Besides the romance I loved the overall plot line. I didn't guess the culprit but man it was fun to read the big reveal! One of my favorite reads this month! Can't wait to read Hunt Her!

Fast-paced, entertaining, and spicy!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, and the characters were great as well.

Meet Charlie Ravanel, a former marine who joined the security industry and is now tasked with guarding fifteen-year-old actress Kiera Williams.

Meet Daniel Pierce, a famous British actor and a heartthrob. He is a co-actor with Kiera Williams.

Although they have an instant electric attraction, Charlie cannot afford to act upon it. She has the dangerous job of protecting Kiera and keeping her from trauma. Not only that, but her past, her scars, are not something she can simply just let go of. Caught in a precarious situation of protecting the girl, her job, and now her heart as well, Charlie is trying her best to sort her life out.

Things that worked for me :

Although it took me a few chapters to get into this book, once I got the hang of it, I started to enjoy the plot. The author did an excellent job of providing them with dimensions and layers.

Is this a dangerous ploy, or is it pure romance
I loved the inner monologue of them as it gave me more insight into their personalities. 

Also, having a strong female character in a romance plot was very refreshing and was amazing to read.

The spice was mind-blowing. Their back-and-forth banter was brilliantly done.

Things that did not work for me:

The only thing that did not work for me was the insta-romance between the characters. I would have loved to read through a few more pages of them just talking about some minor things.
