  • Sürekli timeskip çok canımı sıktı
  • Plot çok basic yaratıcı bi gidişat beklemeyin
  • Bu gidişattan yazar da farkında o yüzden araya tw sahneler koyuyor ki okunsun
  • Enemies to lovers yazılmaya çalışılmış ancak trope isn’t in the room with us

“𝓘 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓸𝔂 𝔂𝓸𝓾.”

This book is my first introduction to dark romances and I don't think I could have picked a better option.

𝒜𝒾𝒹𝑒𝓃 𝓃𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝑜𝓊𝒸𝒽𝑒𝓈 𝓂𝑒. 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝓁𝒶𝓈𝓉 𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒 𝓌𝒶𝓈 𝓉𝓌𝑜 𝓎𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈 𝒶𝑔𝑜 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝒽𝑒 𝓌𝓇𝒶𝓅𝓅𝑒𝒹 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒽𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒶𝓇𝑜𝓊𝓃𝒹 𝓂𝓎 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑜𝒶𝓉. 𝐻𝒾𝓈 𝓉𝑜𝓊𝒸𝒽 𝒾𝓈 𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓁𝓁… 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝒶𝓂𝑒. 𝒞𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓊𝓈𝑒𝒹. 𝑅𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽. 𝒮𝓂𝑜𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝒾𝓃𝑔.

Please read the TW before reading this book tho,

“𝐹𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝒾𝓉 𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝒾𝒻 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓉𝑜 𝓈𝒸𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂, 𝓎𝑜𝓊’𝓁𝓁 𝒻𝓊𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓈𝒸𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂, 𝐸𝓁𝓈𝒶.”

Aiden King is the main love interest, an Anti-hero. who forces Elsa into a realtionship with him. Taking what he sees as his.

“𝐼𝒻 𝒶𝓃𝓎𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝒹𝒶𝓇𝑒𝓈 𝓉𝑜 𝓁𝑜𝑜𝓀 𝒶𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝓁𝑒𝓉 𝒶𝓁𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓉𝑜𝓊𝒸𝒽 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉’𝓈 𝓂𝒾𝓃𝑒, 𝐼’𝓁𝓁 𝒻𝓊𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓂𝓊𝓇𝒹𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓂. 𝐼𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒸𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓇?”

He is overall unlikable and overbearing over Elsa but that is the point of his charecter, he views her as his and his only, harming anyone that dares to even look at her the wrong way.

“𝒴𝑜𝓊’𝓁𝓁 𝓁𝑒𝓉 𝓂𝑒 𝑜𝓌𝓃 𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎 𝒾𝓃𝒸𝒽 𝑜𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝓌𝑜𝓃’𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝓈𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓉𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉?”

Elsa made the choise on her first day at a super prestigous school to talk to the 'wrong' person, Authough talking to Kim may have caused relentless bullying the pair are best friends who love each other through it all

“𝒜𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝐸𝓁𝓈𝒶? 𝐵𝑒𝒸𝒶𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓈 𝓃𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝓈𝓊𝓅𝓅𝑜𝓈𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝓂𝓊𝒸𝒽. 𝐻𝑒𝓁𝓁. 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓈𝓃’𝓉 𝓈𝓊𝓅𝓅𝑜𝓈𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝓀 𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓂𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓃 𝐼 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝓀 𝑜𝒻 𝓂𝓎𝓈𝑒𝓁𝒻.”

I have seen a lot of reviews saying people expected the ending but I did not see that coming. maybe I missed something but I think It was a shock .

“𝐼𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓂𝓎 𝓉𝓇𝓊𝓈𝓉, 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝒶𝓃’𝓉 𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝓂𝓎 𝒷𝑒𝓈𝓉 𝒻𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓃𝒹’𝓈 𝓌𝑒𝓁𝓁𝒷𝑒𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓃 𝓂𝑒. 𝒯𝒽𝒶𝓉’𝓁𝓁 𝓂𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓂𝑒 𝓉𝓇𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓁𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝓂𝑜𝓇𝑒.”

Let's just say that calling a criminal and an abuser the villain is fitting but doesn't do justice to what he actually is!
I felt uncomfortable reading everything the MMC did, and it was even more uncomfortable knowing he was just 18.

Dark romance my ass!

3.5 out of 5 ☆’s.

”Those who don't play think that the king is the most important piece because the game is over when he dies. They don't know that the king is useless without his queen.”

Aiden’s character piqued my interest while reading ”Cruel King” — so I was ecstatic when I found out that the next book in the series was his!

While I did enjoy ”Deviant King” overall (Note: I was aware of it being a dark bully romance novel — so none of its content took me by surprise) I will say that I wasn’t a big fan of the ending twist…

I did see it coming (so it wasn’t something out of left field) but it was too similar to Levi + Astrid’s situation with their parents (in my opinion) which bothered me.

(Are all of the characters going to be connected to their love interests in similar ways — or are the Kings just cursed?)

This book is not morally grey, it is morally black. The non- consensual sexual content, the constant sexual and physical harassment and the toxic possessiveness made me uncomfortable and confused. None of the characters are likeable. It is also not overly well written. But it gets more than a 1 star rating because there is actually a decent, mysterious and interesting plot at play here which I want to know more about. And yes that means that I will be reading the next book in the series because I want to know more about Aiden and Elsa’s past.
