This book will stay with me for a long while. Really disliked Will, but I loved all the characters. I was prepared to hate Artemis, but because Cassandra could love her, so did I. While I often dislike the Groundhog Day trope, it worked really well in this case because Cassandra was so well written.

Like reading a choose-your-own-adventure book where the MC is choosing instead of you! Equally heartwarming and aggravating. Excellect autistic MC representation, with synesthesia surrounding emotions and color (turning alexithymia into a "spectrum" metaphor, haha!) and a distressingly vivid memory recall that makes it hard to move on from past hurts (possibly hyperthymesia + autistic rigidity) on top. This story may also resonate with aromantic people whether or not Cassandra is meant to be aro.
The aggravating part is watching her make social mistakes that I *do* understand, or constantly rewrite mistakes instead of learn to handle aftermaths (but hey, this *is* a time travel story), or ignore or misunderstand her own feelings. The heartwarming part is watching her sort through which relationships are worth fixing/pursuing, grow emotionally, and start accepting herself beyond necessary accommodations.
So much was relatable (besides sharing my name) - earplugs, the schedules, the delayed emotions craving to be right or correct people - and presented so authentically and respectfully. I certainly felt a lot of things reading this.

Such a cute read about a woman with Autism who keeps rewinding time to try to keep her job and her boyfriend and hide from her sister. I LOLed so many times while listening to this audiobook.

It's very rare I go into a book knowing absolutely nothing about it but that was the case here and it worked out brilliantly. I had such a good time with this. The protagonist Cassandra discovers she can time travel at will and that's the kind of time travel device I find really interesting. She was a fascinating character to put into that situation because she's neurodivergent so she uses her powers to get out of awkward social situations or to redo conversations she struggled with the first time round. I didn't completely love the ending but I'm still so glad I read this and it's made me want to read more time travel books.

Ein wunderschön geschriebener Roman über eine andersdenkende junge Frau, die Unglück förmlich anzieht und das Geschenk der Zeit bekommt.
Seit langem hatte ich nicht mehr so viel Spaß beim Lesen und war von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite gefesselt und unterhalten.
Mit einem angenehmen, lockeren Schreibstil wird einem die Geschichte aus der Sicht der herrlich erfrischenden und sympathischen Protagonisten erzählt, die aufgrund ihrer autistischen Züge nicht nur anders denkt, sondern auch öfters anders handelt. Trockener, schlagfertiger Humor und viele Vergleichen und Verbindungen zur griechischen Mythologie dienen dazu, dass man das Gefühl vermittelt bekommt, eine Freundin würde von ihrem unglücklichen Alltag erzählen. Dabei hält sie keineswegs zurück mit ihren Wahrnehmungen und Gedanken und tretet dabei auch schön öfters mal ins Fettnäpfchen.
Die Handlung selbst schreitet schnell voran, und zwischenzeitlich fühlt man sich genauso erschöpft wie die Protagonisten, was mittels liebenswürdigen Charakteren und witzigen Dialogen ausgeglichen wird. Aufgrund der vielen Zeitsprünge verliert man als Leser jedoch schon mal die Übersicht über Geschehnisse, was durchaus passend ist, da es der Protagonisten ebenfalls so mit ihrer neuen Gabe ergeht. Themen wie Beruf, Liebe, Familie und Selbstwahrnehmung werden so aufgegriffen, wie man es nur selten liest und hinterlassen einem nach dem Lesen der letzten Seite ein warmes Gefühl zurück.
Der Roman steckt voller kleiner Details, die einem beim Lesen entgehen, schlichtweg, weil sie der Protagonisten entgehen, was in einem Vorfreude auf ein erneutes Durchlesen weckt.
Ich kann diesen Roman jedem empfehlen, der zu oft im Alltag Gedanken und Wünsche unterdrückt aus Höflichkeit oder Zierde und sich eine Geschichte mit einer Charakterentwicklung und Plot-Twists wünscht.
