Loved it until it was a big surprise that she has autism. I get that there are a lot of people that get diagnosed later in life but taking into account the story arc of her being bullied for being on the spectrum there’s no way it was a shock to both of them.

This book describes the inner world of a 31 year old neurodivergent woman who believes that her way of interacting with the world is completely wrong. She describes her inner struggles and how she is incapable of changing her reactions to certain things. The time travel is revolves around her interactions with her friends and colleagues as she tries out different interactions and views how they result. The sibling relationship is interesting but not very well fleshed out.

It’s cute. Loved all the Greek mythology references. The narrator’s lack of autism diagnosis until her 30s despite her very obvious autistic behaviors is puzzling, especially since the book is set in the right now.

3.5 stars rounded up. This is a combination time-travel rom com novel. Neuro-divergent Cassandra has just had one of the worst days of her life. She has lost her job and her boyfriend in the same day. She has received a perfumed letter which she discards without reading. And her roommates want her to move out. She melts down. As she wakes up, things are different. She has gone back in time, and she vows this time, she won’t make the same mistakes. The format was just a little repetitive for me. Too many back and forths. The ending wrapped things up nicely as Cassandra realizes she is okay just as she is.
