I need to stop reading reviews for future books in a series, because I think I’m weak and they may sway my opinion. I feel like we lost steam for the plot on this one, and she made up for it with steam in the bedroom… (I very much enjoyed said scenes)

I feel like we completely undid some plot building from previous books, while simultaneously jumping ahead in other aspects. I continue to love the diversity & importance of the mental, though I do feel the book could’ve focused more on the literal war going on.

This one was probably the slowest one in the series so far for me, I just found it a bit of a slog to get through and sadly a bit dull. Too far through the series now not to see what happens in the last book though!!!

I was hoping this was the final instalment
It’s not
I think this story has been unnecessarily stretched over too many books.
I like it but I want it to be wrapped up rather than dragged out.
