3.5 stars. It took me half the book to realize that they were not talking about this:

Lots of fun and embarrassing teen moments! I started reading this series around 14 and I still enjoy them. I will say that there are some jokes and prejudices that Georgia and her friends have about gay people, which I believe come from ignorance (This came out back in 2001). I will let it slide solely because 1) this was published almost 20 years ago and the climate is different now, 2) the characters are 15 in the early 2000's. As a queer person I didn't think that these comments were made with malicious intent but rather ignorant. If the book had come out this year, I think the published would have removed it from the final edition.
