Yes, this was looong, and I was fully ready to come on here and say it was too long but damn, the ending made it worth it. While I had my suspicions (and I'm damn proud of them), I really didn't see how it all fit together until the end and that's why it needed to be that long.
I struggled with Vincent as a protagonist, while I of course rooted for him to solve the murder, he honestly just seemed like a bit of a dick in his personal life — sorry. Mina was the one who really made this work for me and I loved reading about her.
A book that dragged at times but ultimately was still a great read!

I've read marginally less well written books, but never anything so universally awful. It made me angry, bored and disgusted all at the same time. The ableism, racism, sexism and general muckiness was unforgivable.
