I only wish I knew how all the songs sounded! It got a bit slow in the Mirkwood forest, and then some parts felt skipped over, but overall it was a lovely story I can’t wait to read to/with my future children! I giggled at times like a child myself :3

A marvelous adventure with a Hobbit that is much loved and oh so relatable. Bilbo travels on an adventure with a rambunctious group of dwarves through many dangers, slowly earning their trust while becoming a more well-rounded being himself.

We had cozy moments where we sat by the fire. We felt the hunger, the cold, and the rain. We held our breath every time Bilbo slipped on the ring. We felt the happiness everytime we saw Gandalf. And mostly, we stood in lovey amazement at every new “race” that was introduced.

The Hobbit is an adventurous, reflective, and sometimes dark (but often hopeful) story about friendship and faith in the vast world of Tolkien.
