The writing is beautiful. So easy to follow & read. Absolutely amazing story with a mixture of romance and F1. Love the inside take as there’s information about the pit crew and the drivers themselves. This book makes you feel like you’re actually behind the scenes at F1 events. Such a beautiful love story for the main characters. Absolutely LOVE this book

Lauren Asher never fails. I didn’t think I’d go for the whole bad-boy racer thing but damn if Throttled changed my mind.

I think Noah & Santi’s relationship could have been a bit more fleshed out. Also, someone who has been the vicitm of childhood and domestic violence does not get over it after a few weeks of therapy.

Please, this was so damn adorable. Noah is such a great mmc, he recognises (granted with a nudge) that he needs help with his feelings and seeks it for himself (& Maya by extenstion)

Really well written in my opinion and my fave mmc so far (its literally book one so this means nothing but it counts). Also love the closeness of Maya and her Brother including how supportive he is (and Noah) or Maya and her youtuber career.

Didn’t enjoy the perspective the book was in. The overall plot was super cheesy but like in a well preformed way. Kinda predictable. Spicier than what it appears. Got me into liking hot f1 racers though 🤭. Like F1 is up there with Hockey players right but their are not any high quality edits on tik tok which is extremely disappointing.

Maybe it’s because I already watch F1 racing and the behind the scenes on Netflix, but I really enjoyed this book. I do agree that the beginning was slow but there is a lot to the race. My heart was literally racing the first chapter 😮‍💨

Unpopularity opinion, so far I’m enjoying this series more than the Dreamland Billionaires series. I recognize that I am the type of reader that needs more context in the stories I read which is why I liked this book a lot.  It not only focused on the relationship but everything else that was happening. Maya and Noah compliment each other so well 💕 I was melting while reading the softer moments in the book.

Having an interest in F1 Racing (or at least race car drivers...) helps. Noah has good character growth (we love to see a man voluntarily enter therapy!). "Brother's rival now teammate" is a new one.

This was pain.
Sad because I am always looking forward to F1 books like this but there’s no significant conflict, very little character development and the spicy is not worth the wait.
Very little F1 in my F1 book as well, which I get but still, always prefer more.
MCs were generic and side characters are forgettable.
Will keep looking for better F1 books
