The apocalypse is set to come on April 23rd and everyone will die. Rain is ready for that day until she meets Wes. Wes is determined that he will survive the apocalypse and he believes Rain is a survivor too and convinces her to stick with him to survive.
This was a different series form what I normally would read, and I really enjoyed it! I tend to not always enjoy apocalyptic settings, but this one I really did enjoy and I loved the steamy romance!
Rain was a very typical teenager, but she grew so much through this series and changed a lot and become a much more mature person despite the conditions of the world and the way people were, even close friends were not as smart or mature as her by the end.
Wes is that overprotective alpha male who just wants Rain for himself and to protect her, and yet, also wants her to be happy and wants her to be with someone who is truly worthy of her, and he doesn’t think that’s him. He tries to stay away, but that doesn’t last long

Fast paced, gripping, twisty and will hit you in the feels a bit. I'm completely obsessed with this apocalyptic world BB Easton has created. Bad Boys Don’t Die: The Complete Collection is easily one of my all time favorites. There wasn't a single book in this series that was a let down. The fighting of injustices. The protection of love. The battle for survival. My heart was pounding the entire time.
A combination of three books in one with emotions running high and intensity that will grip you and keep on the edge of the unknown waiting to see how it all plays out. Wes and Rain’s story isn’t an easy one because it’s just days away from the world ending and in this game of survival they have to fight against so many odds it seems impossible. When they meet you know there is something special brewing between them but how can they ever find any happiness when the world is literally falling apart. Wes tries to fight the instant feelings he has for Rain because his past still haunts him and the pending apocalypse, but no matter how hard he tries they are drawn back to each other. Rain knows in her heart Wes is her one and she will fight hard to make him see that together they are stronger and have something amazing in these dismal times. The journey isn’t an easy one and filled with a lot of emotions and obstacles that try to bring them down, but the big question is will love ultimately win? Can they fight their way and survive to keep living especially for what they have or will they give up? This story has a little bit of everything and had me falling in love with these characters once again.
This dystopian collection is actually a single story broken down into 3 sections, which were obviously then available as separate books, and is unlike anything that I've read before, and very different to what I was expecting. The stories are well written and really did have me wondering what was going on and happening in this strange world that is like ours, but not. I liked that it had society decaying over a period of time due to specified events. I also liked that it wasn't a totally happy ending.
However, this is so far outside what I normally read and book 1 I found very offputting and almost repellent. This book is well written and while it's not my preference, if you're into dystopian, post-apocalyptic stories, this one might be for you.

The series starts out with only 3 days left until the apocalypse. People have abandoned homes, cars, and their families. Rainbow Williams has been left behind and she’s not afraid to die. She’s looking forward to the end, if she can just last 3 more days she’ll never have to deal with all of her pain. Enter Wes Parker who has survived all of the awful things life has tossed his way. His plan is to use his resourcefulness and charm to survive. It’s never let him down before, and then he meets Rain. Now they’re stuck together; One wants to live, the other to die. Maybe together they can figure out how to survive!
It has been a long time since I really loved a dystopian novel and of course it would be @author.bb.easton that reminds me of why I love this genre! The dual POV
really works for this series because both characters start so closed off emotionally. There are so many twists and turns and I felt like my heart was in my throat from the start of book 1 to the end of book 3. Wes and Rain broke my heart and healed it over and over again. I truly loved every second of this series!

In this thrilling trilogy, I found myself immersed in a gripping narrative set in the dystopian ruins of Franklin Springs, Georgia. As the impending apocalypse looms just days away, the characters Rain and Wes captivated me with their resilience and determination. Rain, unafraid of death, and Wes, a survivor with charm, navigate a world crumbling into chaos. Easton's storytelling prowess shines through in this heart-pounding saga, weaving suspense, drama, and unexpected twists. The series delves into their struggle for survival, highlighting their evolving relationship amidst danger and despair. The unique apocalyptic theme adds depth to the narrative, keeping me on the edge of my seat. Easton masterfully crafts a tale of hope amidst darkness, making this trilogy a must-read for fans of intense, dystopian romance.
I was fortunate enough to get an advanced review copy and these thoughts are my own. Easton takes us on a journey through the world potentially coming to an end and what that looks like for Rain and Wes. They have to figure out what living, losing, and loving looks like. This was such a good series I was truly sorry to see it end. You could see both of these characters grow so much throughout the series. This was my first series I read from Easton but it absolutely will not be my last!
