4 ⭐ I need more omegaverse books like this in my life!

This was so great!
Omega + three hockey player alphas?! Unreal.
I already knew that Sarah Blue's books were amazing, and after reading Heat Haven I knew she could write Omegaverse Romances like a pro. But, wow, was I blown away with this one. The amount of angst, pain and grief in this book was so unexpected, but I loved getting to know Charlotte, Anders, Eli and Mikael. There were points in the story where I felt like the darkness was going to stop me from enjoying the story -yes, I did cry a lot, thanks Ms. Blue- but I get it. Also, I get that there's no favourites... but Eli is the f*cking best. Just saying. Also Anders is a cutie pie who deserves the whole wide world and I'm so sad we never got to meet his mother and fathers. I'm still trying to figure out Mikael and his superhuman ability to burry his head so far up his own ass that even his packmates can't unstuck it. But, you know... he's alright, I guess...

I can't wait to get into book 2 - Piper's story!

So you’ve probably gathered by now that I’ve forced Sarah Blue to be my friend. We were chatting about One Pucked Up Pack and she told me her alpha/beta readers were crying while reading. I scoffed on the inside; I don’t cry nearly ever when reading romance.

Dear Reader…I should have taken that warning to heart.

One Pucked Up Pack had angst, heat, friendship, and so much more. Charlotte was a fantastic heroine. She was open about her flaws, and when worst came to worst, she did what needed to be done to work on herself. And her mates were just as wonderful. Eli was the sweet one, with golden retriever energy, Anders was the calm daddy, and Mikael, the broody fuck-up.

I just can’t really describe how much I loved One Pucked Up Pack. Sarah and I were talking and something she said resonated with me; she said I was tired of an easy romance. And she’s right. OPUP hurts so bad but when the pack gets back together, it’s beautiful. The emotional growth and development are the stars of this story, but don’t worry, the heat is still sizzling hot.

I’m so invested in this story, I think I’m going to read it again right now. And then wait—not so patiently—for more.

This was recommended by my sister who just got into omegaverse and it was so good! It's about an Omega in her 3rd year of college but her school is mostly set up for privileged Alphas to come find an Omega. She goes to visit her older, chronically ill mother (diabetes with complications) over winter break and runs into three Alphas from another school who all play hockey and turn out to be her scent matches. Two of them are thrilled, the third takes is not. Eventually something happens that tips them apart and it was actually quite sad as they were figuring stuff out separately and eventually together again. I thought the depiction of her with depression was very well done, and there is therapy on page. I liked this book so much that I immediately started reading the second and then the third.
