This is one of those rare books I want to reread immediately after finishing it now that I have a better understanding what’s going on.

Provavelmente o livro mais sombrio que já li. Um perfeito retrato da loucura.

(4.5) A very unique read. Incredibly difficult to describe. The story is quite short but nevertheless one of the darkest and most intense I have ever read. The surreal way in which the story is written gives it lots of layers and depth. This is definitely the kind of story that deserves several readings.

Interesting approach and style, but ultimately hard to get through.

Like the underground man but less compelling.

Yup, exactly what I imagine an opium trip to be like. It was really good, I do recommend it.
