I loved this book! This is the first book by Maryann Jordon that I have read, and I loved it! Now I need to backtrack and read the others in the series.

Vinny, the die hard ladies man, has never let anyone in after his experiences in Afghanistan. His trauma centres around a woman singing and playing a lyre.

Hired as a security escort for a musician, he's enchanted by Annalissa, a beautiful Celtic harpist. She has her own anxieties and lets her team of managers, and her father, run her life.

Vinny rescues her from all these people, then, by accident, protects her as she becomes embroiled in a drug smuggling operation through her harp.

The music Annalissa makes is described vividly and beautifully. The person smuggling drugs into her harp base is awkwardly described and referred to, obviously female but not written as such. This was distracting and didn't add to the story at all.

Other than that, I like that Vinny realizes he didn't lead a very healthy lifestyle with the easy women he was with. He values his chance to have a relationship, and Annalissa heals him with her music and her innocence.

Lovely story.

The bigger they are the harder they fall! Vinny is the best example of that saying!! And Annalissa, so much stronger than she ever knew. Their romance was a so sweet, very steamy and fraught with intrigue and danger. So good!

I loved writing this book!! It is the 3rd in the Alvarez Security Series, but we first me these wonderful men in Love's Taming (the Love's Series). Vinny is Gabe's twin. His character was more laid-back than his brothers-in-arms. He liked the women willing, his beer cold, and his music loud and rocking. Never expecting opposites to attract, he was bowled over by his mission assignment...escorting a quiet, shy, symphony harpist. But when danger followes her, they begin a cross country trip toward safety...and love! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed creating these wonderful characters.

Enjoyed Vinny's story immensely. This one was sweet adorbs and full of action as usual for the men of Alvarez Security! Loved it and I'm on my way to Jobe's story and the reason why he lost his HEA. Hmmmmm. Lol

Vinny beings when Vinny is sent to do a body guard job. He's been living his the single party life for a while, and his boss warns him not to mess this one up when he sees his client. The problem is he takes one look at her and knows she's it for him.

Annalissa O’Brian is a shy musician who doesn't really know how to stand up for herself. But when she meets Vinny things start to change for her. She likes having someone take care of her for once, and she starts to get a voice of her own.

But the problem is she's in danger, but she's unsure why or from who. That's Vinny's job to find out. These two must work together, and keep their attraction on the down low before it is all too late.

This book was really well written and very interesting. I enjoyed the plot line, and suspense. As well as the romance. However, it seemed to drag on at times, and that got a little frustrating. But other than that I really liked the book.
