My goodness, this was one of the shower paced books I've read this year. It bugs me since there's plenty of good story and deep characters to choose from, but it's needlessly dragged out. Save your time and watch the miniseries.

I remember loving this book when I read, probably when it was first published, whatever year that was.

Long book but one of the best I have ever read. Found it on my mom's shelf and couldn't put it down.
