I know this is a kids book, but after listening to the "Amerigo" audiobook, this is a welcome distraction. Apart from the loose, detail lacking narrative, the book is fairly good. It was a quick read.

This was so fun, short, and such an enjoyable read. I listened to the audio book and I have to say that John Beach really made this book. I have a done a lot of audio books in my time and he is one of the best I've heard.

Listened to this audiobook with my boys for Halloween. The guy does a great job on the voices. Just right on the scariness for ages 6+.

Ich kann mich noch sehr gut daran erinnern, dass ich dieses Buch im Alter von 8 oder 9 Jahren gelesen und sehr genossen habe.
Als Erwachsene finde ich jetzt allerdings nicht wirklich unterhaltsam und kann auch keinen Mehrwert daraus ziehen.

Für jüngere trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert!

J. K. Rowling has nothing on Cornelia Funke. This is another good series from the creator of Inkheart. It has a predictable plot (good for early readers) and some very original characters.

Very fun, not too scary ghost adventure for early to mid-elementary age.

A fun if a bit overly simple and silly tale. Great fun to read and easy for a child to identify with. We liked it.
