Finished it in one day! I really enjoyed this book. I love the unreliable narrator, and I was suspicious of multiple different characters throughout the book. Even on the last page, I still felt like I wasn't getting the full story. Definitely a really solid thriller coming from an author who had never written something like this before!

Listened to this as an audiobook and by FAR the best produced audiobook I’ve ever listened to! Plot keeps you guessing in who may have be responsible, and lots of twists regarding the relationships between most of the characters. I honestly had no idea how it was gonna play out. Definitely recommend listening to the audiobook instead of reading due to snippets of podcast episodes throughout!

For me, there wasn’t a dull moment in this audiobook. No matter what part of the story they were on, there wasn’t interesting information that contributed to the overall story. The FMC had a big personality and was well developed, more than I see in other mystery books. The narration was amazing! The twists and turns of Lucy not remembering things made it even more intriguing. I was so excited to find out how it would all come together and I’m not disappointed at all in how it went.

overall enjoyed this and this felt like a pretty quick and easy thriller read (even though I’m in a bit of a slump right now) and I could recommend this to someone who might be a little less of an advanced reader. It definitely felt like someone took the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series but coming from the perspective of the victim and also like the author tried really hard to make it more “for adults.” I think it was a steady pace throughout then became very fast paced drama at very end, but still rather enjoyable!
