A good, fast, easy and entertaining read. Perfect for a lazy, quiet Christmas Day. I've read her other "early" books (pre-Stephanie Plum) and I've enjoyed all of them.

This is another one of Janet Evanovich's Silhouette novels from the 80s/90s revamped. It was a fun, quick read. Elsie Hawkins shows up again and is totally the predecessor of Grandma Mazur. It's not as great as some of the good Plums, but fun if you're looking for fluff.

Not sure why I keep reading these. This was a Christmas gift so I felt obligated. It wasn't as if it was horrible it was just....thrown out there. No craft involved. As with her other screwball comedies, the plot had an interesting hook but the descriptions and even the execution just "were".

Short, light, mostly predictable, but also very funny. Elsie has GOT to be the prototype for Grandma Mazur -lol

pretty cute for a short story and I like how it stretched over a longer time period than the previous book I read.
adventurous funny medium-paced
Loveable characters: Yes

Fun but forgettable.

Not the most exciting read, rather too "romance novel" in plot, but it was light fluff to pass the time.

Fast-paced humorous, crazy, romance in a little town with wacky lovable characters. A fun bit of fluff.
