That book made me laugh so much I almost cried; I was hooked on it from start to finish !
It's funny, swoony, sexy and with a little drama; let's just say that Hattie's sister is a b*tch ;)

I love Hattie and Griz's banter... Just how they interact with each other.
I really enjoyed how mister Eddie wrote about their insecurities; made them (the characters) feel real.
I l also really liked to revisit with characters from the other books.

I think this one is my favorite in the series and I highly recommend it !!

I received a copy of this book from the author and I'm honestly reviewing it honestly.

I love this series!! Griz is trying to get past the disaster his life was before Christmas and clean up his act to be the best hockey player, and person, he can be. Hattie is a confident woman when she is at the paper or organizing her charity event/bachelor auction, but she always falls apart whenever she gets a text from her bridezilla sister. In a moment of weakness she bids a huge amount of money on Griz hoping he will agree to be her fake boyfriend! This is a funny, touching, passions and drama filled story. Even though they are in college, they have issues we all do and I love their story!! I can't wait for Blaze!

3 stars is kind of generous but I’m taking into account that these tropes just aren’t my thing and I knew that going into the book; college romance, fake dating.

The writing is not amazing and there seemed to be minimal emotional intimacy between the characters… but it had its funny and cute moments.

Loved loved loved the references to music throughout - it gives me a sense of the environment. I also usually ask my Echo to play the song - to help with the mood. I thought too much happened in a two week time period. It wrapped up a bit too cleanly and I didn’t get as much conflict as I would have anticipated.
And hockey - where was the hockey? I wanted way more hockey and sport scenes.
