Time for a 15 year high school reunion with mean girls, paid escorts, drama, and of course murder. We are back on track with lots of movie quotes! Even some outsiders are getting into the quoting. This had some great twists and introduced some new fun characters. Hoping for more uncle Stan and mom storyline now that they are a couple.

After what Mel went through in high school I don’t blame her for not wanting to go to her high school reunion. After being conned into going, it ends up being worse than you could imagine when Mel’s high school bully is found dead and she becomes the prime suspect.  I’m really ready for Mel and Joe to get married but I have a feeling it’s going to be another book or two before that happens cause I’m predicting a big announcement from Angie and Tate. Don’t get me wrong I like Angie and Tate but I’m ready for the side story focus to move away from them and onto Mel and Joe’s happily ever after.

Another winner from Jen! Great mystery with a lot of humor which makes it a pretty perfect read for me. Can’t wait for my next visit with Mel, Angie and the rest of the gang!

I just love this silly series. Dying for Devil's Food is number 11 and it's just as fun as the previous 10. In this one, Mel doesn't want to go to her high school reunion, but is coerced by Angie. But when mean girl Cassidy is found dead, Mel wishes she'd stuck to her first inclination and stayed away.

These books are fun. I love the friendship and the antics. And I love the movie quotes. But honestly McKinlay, not one quote from Grosse Pointe Blank???
