Stoicism is not always correct, but it's very soothing to hear someone in a faux Roman accent tell you to calm down and focus on what is important.

Book has some amazing insights and powerful quotes. But it is written in a preachy style which might not go well with everyone.

Ich bin auf Seneca gestoßen durch mehrfache Empfehlung von Tim Ferris, in seinem Buch „Tools der Titanen“.
Ich kann das Buch nur jedem empfehlen, man hat es schnell gelesen und kann viele nette Denkanstöße mitnehmen.
Das Buch hat mich auf jeden Fall auch dazu angestoßen über mein eigenes Leben nachzudenken.
Ich denke jeder sollte das Buch einmal im Leben lesen, es macht einem bewusst, dass das Leben doch vielleicht deutlich kürzer ist, als man denkt. Man fängt an darüber nachzudenken, wie man seine begrenzte Zeit auf dieser Erde nutzen möchte und welche Dinge einen wirklich erfüllen und welche nicht.
Der Schreibstil ist auch angenehm zu lesen, ohne das man sich durch komplizierte Grammatik „quälen“ muss.
