What did I learn in this book? That if you want to survive a near death experience that usually would have lead, have sex with a lightning man that has powers to quickly regenerate. lol. I love that we just jumped right into it after having such a twist in the end of the first book. Found family is a big part of this duology. I cried so much, just a warning lol. I was also stressed a lot because of the suspenseful situations. Shan has to be one of my favourite characters, he just always knows about everything but, ‘cuz of plausible deniability, never says anything. He also acts like he knows nothing while being completely unfazed when a secret is revealed, like the whole Zeus/Danny thing. He’s absolutely hilarious, and a good wingman lol All in all, such a great read!
