Welcome back Safiya (one of my fav female characters) and where Safiya is her men Roan,Adrian,Mor, Kestral and Tristan are not far behind. (Yay)

This book leaves of from book one where Safiya is in the cruel hands of Malum the king greedy for power.

What a cliff hanger though can't wait for book 3 now to see what happens with Safiya and her men

I couldn’t have been more excited to jump back into the Inertia series. Captured picked up right where book 1 left off and right off the bad Saf is such a baddie…she is strong, defiant and yet still dignified even when the King is using and abusing her. Malum is a power hungry insane man and it exhausted me the way he treated Saf to try and reach immortality.

The multiple POV’s were such a happy surprise for me. It was great to the men’s viewpoint and really feel their connection to Safiya. The way all her men are there for her and help her through her trauma make me feel all sorts of way. And holy redemption arc for Meriah, I did not see that coming!

The world building is so nice, Sinclair has such a true talent for that! The book is still a bit of a slow burn and everything is still so up in the air, so I’m really hoping that in book 3 there is more time for romance.
