This book is set in an alternative patriarchal society the likes of The Handmaids Tale. While handled beautifully readers should approach with care.bookmarkedtbr's review against another edition

Josie has been through things most people can't even imagine and she's given up hope of being able to find a pack with love. Cam, Ben, and Theo have given up finding an omega for their pack in part due to how horrible omegas are treated by society. When they're paired together by the resistance, they both may have found what they're looking for.
Thoughts
The best omegaverse I've read in a while in terms of overall storytelling. This book was very dark, but there's something about the writing and the characters that kept me hooked. I adored the way the guys always put Josie's feelings ahead of their own and they spent as much time as needed to make her feel secure. The overarching plot about the government and the resistance's fight against it was very detailed and seamlessly integrated. What a crazy cliffhanger though.
FMM, omegaverse, Why Choose?, explicit, plus size heroine, trauma, nesting, knotting, cliffhanger

Surprising Demisexual rep, I’m the opposite of disappointed.
A/B/O ‘s aren’t my favourite so take my review with a grain of salt.
A little rapey but no where near as much as typical for this genre. I liked the guys and how communicative they r with each other and her. She is very traumatized by her past, and I really want them to kill the government leader guy and her whole family.
Mild spoiler:

First of all, this did not need to be 530+ pages. The book dragged on forever - there was no plot, no character development, nothing. Just day in, day out My Life With My Three Alphas. And this could've been so fun! This needed better world building to make any sense. There needed to be real stakes in the plot - things were just happening every ten chapters, and then back to monotony. Like there were points where I thought we were building to something bigger, only for the next chapter to be like "when I woke up the next morning..." For all that, this could've been 300 pages MAX. This read very much like a chapter was uploaded every week - I probably would've enjoyed it more.
FMC is insufferable and never wants to NOT be insecure. Like it's ridiculously irrational. When we finally find out her Big Trauma, it was disappointing because it would've been SUCH a good foundation for a great character arc or a hesitation-to-love story. But instead we get "I'm too fat to be loved." Meanwhile you're small enough to WEAR THEIR CLOTHES AND IT BE BAGGY. Real Big Girls know that is not our story. 😂
The strongest characters were Cam and Ben - Theo was so very boring, and the little bit of fun that he had didn't make sense to his character. Like I truly wanted him gone. And I wish I got more scenes with the boys loving each other or them happy seeing her with someone else in the pack. We get a few, but not enough, especially when you counteract that with their little jealous moments. And the fact that she's the first woman they shared should've been addressed too!
I didn't expect to have this much to say lol. All in all, I only finished it 1. For Cam and Ben, 2. This was my first omegaverse book, and 3. the smut was alright.
TL;DR: should've been an online fanfic instead of a published book, the story pacing and world building was trash, the FMC was irritating, and this should've been half the length. If you don't like it after you meet Theo, DNF it.
I'm giving it a 2.5 now, but that is subject to change to a 2.25 as I read more "meh" books. I love a "meh" book lmao.
