All the stars for this new/old world of Brinton Manor. The Sons of Anarchy give the Renaissance Men a run for their money as next door neighbors. Liv was a fierce partner for Adam the leader of the Soldiers and I loved their witty and snarky banter. The chemistry between the two of them was insanely hot as they played a game of cat and mouse through the first half of the book. I cannot wait for more books in this series. I highly recommend this love story!

Dude. I kicked my fucking feet. I GIGGLED into my pillowšŸ˜ he was so cute tho omg when he left and came back to kiss heršŸ„²šŸ„² I would have screamed if it wasnā€™t 4 am. Thatā€™s right ladies and gents I was so invented I was up until 6 am reading this. Iā€™m kicking to read the other soldiers stories asa-fucking-p.

Ok ok ok It was like reallyyy good. THE PLOT TWIST AT THE END. IT GOT ME GOOD. I was about to call the soldiers plot line pointless AND THEN THEY PULL THAT SHIT. Floored.

I almost rated it a 5 or 4.75 stars which like woah there shawty but Adamā€¦ he gave me some Dylan Sprouse in Beautiful Diaster vibes and I could not come back from that. Iā€™m sorry if I loved you enough you wouldnā€™t do that to me. Thatā€™s an irredeemable offense. And naming him Adam? A scarred  little man against the world fighting outside the bounds of the law to bring Justice to an impoverished and crime ridden cityā€¦ and you name him Adam? Iā€™m sorry Chad would have been more forgivable. Colton. Will. Tyler. Devon. And Adam??? No.

I am on the fence with this story. There are MANY parts that I loved and other parts that I struggled with. There were quite a few areas that left me puzzled (such as her basically being the mother to her brothers but then after that filled a part of the story it was just dropped off). There was a lot going on at the beginning which I have discovered was because this is a spinoff. However, the premise of this story and the whole buildup of what their organization does and how they do it had me riveted to the page. I enjoyed the cat and mouse game between Olivia and Adam. At times, it did come across as juvenile, but even then the idea of it was titillating.

So, even though I did struggle with aspects of this story, I have to commend the author on writing a story that 100% kept me interested to overlook those aspects and keep me going to the end of the book. It is for that reason that I am rounding this up to a 4 and will have me looking into the next book.

Adam is the leader of a vigilante group called the Soldiers of Anarchy. While at a party one night he sees Olivia, he is determined to make her his.

The author does a great job of keeping the reader hooked, this is the first book I have read from this author but will not be the last.
