5 Parts to this book, I own a hardcover- 278 pages, 111 Chapters- the last chapter reminded me of one of the most significant scenes in The Mentalist (tv show starring Simon Baker- I'll always love this show.)

The story was superb, character development, the unravelling plot and the anticipation gradually built.

A terrific read, chapters flew by.... Quite literally: no chapter was more than three pages. After chapter twenty, I flew through the book.

This wasn't the last Patterson novel I will read.

I just don't know... this series is just not resonating with me. I'm not loving the plot lines and character development.

Quick paced, emotional and a great mystery. I love just this series and this was a great entry in the series.

I really enjoyed this. A part of it really broke my heart though. I have gotten really attached to the main characters in this series and Patterson really knows how to make you hurt. But I think it makes it better because everything he does will affect how the story goes in the future.

SERIOUSLY?! One of the women DIED?! I thought that was just some teaser on the cover! I miss the TV show! By 7th Heaven, is it just Lindsay?! Seriously?!

The detective story of this series is usually ok, but everything other is just .... I cannot force myself to like the characters, they are not acting like women, the author sometimes brings some kind of "drama" which is unnecessary and abandoned after few pages ... and the main hero Lindsey is sometimes so stupid, throwing herself into the dangerous situations (because she cannot wait literally one minute for the backup or bulletproof vest).

these books have lots of white space! Short chapters, quick to read, not a taxing plot -- an enjoyable summer book. Patterson sure can crank these out quickly.
