This book was good but a little hard for me to get into. All of the others have been great so far. I am having a tough time deciding the amount of correct starts to give it.

This was another enjoyable read. I never used to read that many mystery/thriller books, but now that I found out about James Patterson, I am hooked. Although it was short, it kept me interested until the very end. I thought this book was better than the second book. The characters in this book are badass, especially Lindsay Boxer. She is my favourite so far out of the female leads. The story was great. I thought the ending could have been better. I felt like it was rushed, and could have been expanded on. I cannot wait to see what happens to these wonderful female leads and what crimes they will solve next. Overall, a great read.

A generous 2.5 stars. The mysteries are intriguing. Maybe? The coauthor is different in book four so I’ll give the series one more try. Probably.

WOW, I always forget how much I like his books until I read them. I love these characters in this series. I started this book around 1030 tonight and finished it less than 4 hours later, thanx to a quiet night at work. This was definitely a page turner.

In this story Lt. Lindsay Boxer is out jogging with her dog when a nearby house suddenly explodes. After calling for help she goes into the burning building to see if there are any survivors. She finds a young boy and is able to get him out. She later finds out that the family was targeted because of the husband's business dealings. The group responsible left a note and it is clear that they plan to continue the killing. As Lindsay works to find the killer her friend Jill is having marital problems and the other friends try to help. When Jill doesn't show up to work one day with no explanation Her friends think maybe she decided to take off on a trip without telling anyone like she has done before OR maybe her husband did something to her. They are wrong though which Lindsay soon finds out.

I wanted to like this more. About 1/3 of the way in, I got bored. It got better.... But then it was totally anti-climatic. Still... Not bad.

This book was almost a 5, except for a couple pet peeves that bother me. Someone is targeting the rich and powerful, deciding they are responible for famine in Africa, children not having medical care and a host of other dire circumstances in the world. The 4 woman of San Fransico are on the case and in time the FBI steps in as this could be worldwide terrorism. The main story is told in a fast consice pace with the author having the reader feeling panic just as San Fransico does when who knows when/how this group will strike. We also see more of the private lives of the four woman and how their personal lives affect their proffesional life.

The story was okay, but the instalove and unrealistic, cliched characters are seriously, seriously irritating.
