This series is my first James Patterson experience. I was looking for a new series to get into and the library has all the Kindle editions of these, so I figured why not? Patterson must be popular for a reason...

No high literature here, but one is not always in the mood for that type of read. Sometimes you just need a quick mystery. So, even though they are not exactly brilliant, I will still keep reading them.

"In case you were wondering," Jacobi said, "you snore."
"Purr," I corrected. "I purr."

"The Women's Murder Club returns in a shockingly suspenseful thriller. Plunging into a burning town house, Detective Lindsay Boxer discovers three dead bodies...and a mysterious message at the scene. When more corpses turn up, Lindsay asks her friends Claire Washburn of the medical examiner's office, Assistant D.A. Jill Bernhardt, and San Francisco Chronicle reporter Cindy Thomas to help her find a murderer who vows to kill every three days. Even more terrifying, he has targeted one of the four friends. Which one will it be?" (From Amazon)

A great suspense/mystery novel with a strong female lead.

I had to pause finishing this as work over the Christmas period got in my way of my reading life.
But I picked it back up no bother and dived straight back in.

I did get a little fed up with the confused triangle of Mal/Stephen/ Wendy/Michelle etc etc.

I’m a total sap though and I cried when one of the Characters (main) was killed.

But all in all a good book for me but could have been a little better if it wasn’t for the repetitiveness of bits of the story line and having to remember who’s who.
