Devi and N'dek were such a cute couple. I loved how Devi treated N'dek just like everyone else and didn't single him out for not having a leg, and I loved how N'dek made the effort to learn Devi's full name and that he didn't see her as being weird for being into the science of the animals and other living things on the planet. They're just so sweet together. I loved them as a couple.

I'm really intrigued about Bridget and A'tam and wish their story was next. But since they're not, I'm excited to get into Nadine and Thrand's book and maybe get more glimpses of Bridget and A'tam in the next couple books and hope they figure things out soon.

I adored Devi and N’dek. This might be my favourite pairing so far.

Most probably my favourite pair from the whole Icehome series (and possible from IPB too). I loved both Devi and N'dek, their story and relationship that was relatively slow compared to other couples in the series. Devi is clever and looks on the Not-Hoth in her own exciting way, keeping it real throughout the whole thing and it was refreshing to read from a perspective that is more occupied with the anatomy of the creatures living on the planet than the anatomy of the blue guys which we all already know about quite a lot. N'dek was also a great character to read about because he is more reserved and while he was a bit clueless in certain aspects of the story, he was ah-mazing by the end. More characters like this, please.

Audiobook Review. Two great performances from the narrators, yet again! For those worried: No, Felicity absolutely does not give Devi any kind of accent. There is very briefly one with a line that is narrated as if spoken by Devi's grandmother.

Five stars, perfection, loved every moment of it. Grump/sunshine dynamic, plus a nerdy girl who has no experience but isn't some wilting flower. Maybe a little more fighting the inevitable would have been fun, but this book and the story of N'dek and Devi was just too charming to feel upset about that sort of thing. One of my favorite of the IPB Universe books so far!
