Very interesting method that incorporates mindfulness into planning, tracking, and general productivity. Instragram has gone a bit crazy with the idea, but the basics presented in the original method are much more minimalist and focused.

I appreciated the first half of the book, which details how and why to use the bullet journal method. I starting BuJoing months ago based on the instructions in this book (and have stuck with it!), then found myself struggling with a long slog through the remainder of the read. The second half of the book waxes "self help" and focuses on how to set and achieve goals. If you want to learn to BuJo and aren't particularly interested in Ryder Carroll's life lessons, skip this one, and just learn the bullet journal method on Youtube.
informative inspiring fast-paced

As someone who has repeatedly failed to keep a traditional planner/journal, I appreciate the flexibility of the Bullet Journal method and am looking forward to developing the practice in 2019.

Honestly waaaay longer than it needed to be. Lots of filler/fluff. Definitely see many of the same ideas are repeated across different self-help books.
The actual method is pretty cool though. So, it seems worth it to just watch a YouTube video instead on a minimal BuJo setup. This could’ve been like 50-100 pages, with good examples of different spreads.
informative medium-paced

A good primer for someone new to bullet journaling written by the man that created it. I’ve known about the method for a few years now, so I don’t feel it was useful for me.

Helpful insight into the why of the bullet journal method, inspired me to go back to basics and be more intentional when going off script.

A Good Introduction to Bullet Journaling. I recently got into Bullet Journaling and this Book gave me a lot of insights and inspiration. The whole process explained in this book is too complicated for me, but I’ll definitely be using some strategies from this Book in my BuJo sessions.

Great book that gets you into Bullet Journaling, with a lot of other tips on time management, planning, and finding happiness!

Another project I’ve decided to tackle. I’ve not been using my planner very well and I feel like the billet journal could be a great way to organize life and stay creative. This book is very informative and also has some great words of wisdom about life. My favorites...
