what a surprise about Aveoth.

My favorite! So glad to finally to hear Aveoths story!!

Love Aveoth

I've been waiting for his story and this did not disappoint! I hope we can get a little update about them in future books. I'd love to know they end up having bat babies.

El libro se centra más en la relación y muy poco en la trama en general de la serie, cosa que preocupa que se vaya por estos rumbos el resto.
Al final me parece que la serie puede en caer en ser solo romance de la pareja protagonista, sin nuevos problemas.

Aveoth es mi VLG favorito, es romantico, duro, letal, con un gran corazón y algo que no muchos de los anteriores protagonistas, muy considerado pensando primero en “ELLA” antes que su egoísmo (When a ti te estoy hablando).

Veamos si mi predicción no se hace realidad.

This is a really interesting read for me because I've been most curious about this one character, Aveoth, since his name had been introduced in earlier in the series. The other books portray him as being as the mysterious / powerful / not the kinda guy you want as an enemy. It's nice to see that there are logical reasons why he seems that way to all the other characters that had books before him. Another thing I like is how you get an insider's look on what it's like in his home territory and the politics and how past history outs affecting the current mood of all of the people he rules over. Also, an entertaining phrase that's repeated is "bat-babies" to which no one of Gargoyle and Gargoyle/other race seems to be offended but more amused.

That's not to say there aren't a couple of things that I don't like, but given that it's only about 350? pages you kind of have to roll with the speediness at that events occur. The female protagonist is one of the more...one dimensional characters, but not the most one (That honor goes to Dusti in the first book Drantos.) I am still reading more of the other books in the series and will provide more reviews as I can.

Laurann es sumamente repetitiva y este libro no iba a ser la excepción, pero a pesar de sus fallas disfruté esta historia. No es mi saga favorita de Laurann y solo la leí porque Aveoth me intrigó desde el primer libro...y ciertamente no es como esperaba. Pero siguen causándome conflicto sus protagonistas femeninas, que se comportan de manera muy similar y es difícil notar que cada una tenga una personalidad.

I absolutely love Aveoth! He's my book bf. I always listen to this book when I'm in a reading slump.
