Douglas Grier is a blacksmith in a small town in the coast of Maine. When a ship comes in for repairs after a storm, fate will have him find a family he helped one night during the war and the woman he hasn't forgotten since that night.
This is a clean, short story I came across when setting to review the sequel. I really enjoyed it and was very impressed with the writing. I really liked some of the characters and can't wait to read more about the people from Lobster Cove!
