This one lost me when the cat gave the squirrels wedgies.... whaaaaaa?!

not as good as others in the series

This is a sequel/companion novel to [b:Those Darn Squirrels!|3308857|Those Darn Squirrels!|Adam Rubin|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1267925788s/3308857.jpg|3346072]. A cranky man, some darn squirrels, a very friendly new neighbor, and one annoying cat make for a fun read.

I think I like this one better than the first :) Those squirrels. lol

Not sure how I felt about this bully cat who gets his comeuppance.

Love the humor, but disappointed by the ending. The problem was resolved way too easily.

I really liked this book. It was a fun story and the illustrations were great. It's a very nice story that both shows a nice friendship to and appreciation for the natural world (even if the birds had made-up names, though this makes the book more fun to read), and also decries the meanness of bullying and shows that no good can come of it. It's a little text heavy for younger kids, but still has good potential as read-aloud book. :-)
