Informative but slow which couldn't hold my attention. I ended up "fast-reading" like I did with textbooks in college. Good info so I'm glad I bought the book and am not loaning from the library. Maybe one day I will listen to the audio version in order to "fully read" the book.

This was a helpful, detailed manual that gave a background and context for the guidance it offered. Scott was quick to remind readers that everything is up to personal interpretation and his book is not holy writ. I value and appreciate the way these topics were approached and broken down.

A very basic introduction to Wicca. Includes information on the theory behind Wicca, how to practice, and the author's personal Book if Shadows.

I personally felt like this was a gentle and non-judgmental introduction. Cunningham stresses that a solitary practice of Wicca can be highly individualized.

I read this book years ago and felt drawn back to it recently. The library had an audiobook ready so I took it as a sign. Still a great, easy to access book.
