While not a very deep book by any means, this was a really fun read! I thought this was going to be a full blown romance book but was pleasantly surprised to find it was more focused around family than anything else and did it exceedingly well, if perhaps the romance suffering due to this same reason. Overall, if you need a really well written, fluffy book than I'd definitely recommend this to you!

This was my second favorite holiday read this year! It was so fun, lighthearted, but still relatable and real. And had a lot of cozy holiday feelings even though it took place in Louisiana.
