No one touch me. I'm too emotional.

I went into this book, expecting it to be 50% needless drama for an attempt of plot and 50% sex because sex, and not really expecting much substance out of it. Maybe I'm just starved for a really good romance story because most I've read recently haven't done it, but man, I was sooo into this. More than I ever thought I was going to be. It was equal parts dramatic and cute and romantic and sad, and I just can't with myself.

Vaughn and Oakley were equally perfect, okay. Normally, when it splits the POV, at least one of them really seems to suck. On special occasions, they both suck and you know exactly why they're perfect for each other cause no one deserves being stuck with them. But, Vaughn and Oakley were both so great that I can't even figure out which one I like more. They're both flawed individuals, but they grew through this book and I shipped them super hard together. It's been a while since I've done that with a romance, so really, this book did its job there.

The supporting cast was good too. Paisley and Ty are both absolutely amazing, and even the characters who weren't good people added to it.

I'll be honest, the plot is predictable and stereotypical, but it's still done in such a way that it really hooked me and sucked me in.
I knew they weren't really going to split them up for real at the end, but damn, was I tense thinking that maybe for once there was going to be a bittersweet ending. It really had me thinking they might not do the cliche, and when they did, I was so happy that it didn't even matter that it was cliche
.

I know this sort of book isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, but this book was my cup of tea so splash me in it and find me a pop star to whisk me off my feet please.

”I can't pretend that I don't love you. That you don't make my heart sing. That I don't look forward to seeing you every day or reading a text from you or hearing your amazing voice say baby.”

"This is as real and as awful and as wonderful as it gets. I’d hold her forever if she’d let me"

Asi que si quereis lectura ligerita y que enganche esta es ♥

“I’m glad we terminated the—” I lower my voice, because there are people all around us “—contract. You said that everything in your life was fake, but we’re not fake, Oak. We’re real. We’re so real.”

Oh wow I loved this book!! Erin Watt are the queens at young adult stories.

These two, Oakley and Vaughn, were a breath of fresh air, sass and everything in between. They met when she was hired to help his image and pretend to be his girlfriend. Lol boy did they dislike each other. She wasn't the typical girl she was normal and not drooling at Oakley. Oakley was getting a dose of reality when Vaughn wasn't drooling at him. She treated him like every other normal person and not like the hot pop star celebrity. Oakley actually started used to her attitude.

Slowly but surely things started getting real but they were both afraid to voice it to each other because they each thought that the other was acting. Vaughn at times made me want to shake her when her ex was involved but other than that she was cool. And Oakley, ❤️, was there to hold her when she needed a shoulder.

I felt bad for Oakley because the people around him didn't truly care for him and wanted to manipulate everything. The only real people in his circle were his two bodyguards which he considered friends. It was sad the behind the scenes he was living. Vaughn was very family oriented and dealt with the things life threw her way like a trooper just like her older sister.

I can't say anymore because I'll end up spoiling but this is a must read. You'll enjoy the main couple, the bodyguards and Vaughn's siblings.

I voluntarily accepted an advanced reader copy of this book and I'm glad I did.

Oh how I adored this book. I seriously didn't want it to end, I tried to read the last few chapters slowly but I just couldn't put it down at all and now have closed the last page. Sigh!

I just fell in love with Vaughn and Oak they were just adorable. This story brought out my emotions, I laughed, got teary, fell in love, a few characters brought out the anger in me and of course the tingles, gotta love getting those tingles.

I just loved this book and I highly recommend reading it!

Me ha sabido a poco, últimamente no escojo bien las novelas juveniles. Plano, aburrido y a ratos entretenido con personajes y trama que no me ha dicho ni aportado nada.
