2.5 stars… not quite terrible but also not a very well written book. It had the potential to be a really good thriller but I think the foundation of the book and it’s characters was just not strong enough for any of the decisions made through the trial to really make sense or resonate. It all just seemed way too far fetched and the resolution was too easy.

Wow. What an amazing book. I read it in one day because I couldn't put it down! Although I had a guess at the end plot way before it happened, it was still a pretty gripping book. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Antoinette van Heugten did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job on this novel. I couldn't bring myself to put it down, and the ending left me on edge. The entire novel had me on pins and needles, wondering what was going to happen and what was truly the situation. She has quickly become one of my to-read authors. Highly anticipating her future novels as well. VERY recommended.

This book had a bit of a shocking ending, I'm quite surprised actually. Five stars for a gripping read and excellent plot twist.
