Danni has a deep attraction to Lars, one she can't act on. He rescued her after all, saw her at her worst and she is no longer that timid scientist. She went out and made herself over into a kick-butt female. She is the one doing the guarding now, she has left her science-loving, nerdy alter ego behind her.

Lars is well aware that Danni stayed with him whilst he was in hospital but he's sure it was just guilt as he got hurt saving her life. There was no real attraction on her side. Was there? After all, she declared she wasn't the relationship type and he's just about ready for that HEA his brothers have found!

Wannabe bodyguard, beleaguered protection agent, billionaire besties at risk, drug cartels and a rock star. Put all that in a blender and you get a fab romantic suspense story I loved the storyline, there are no damsels in distress here. Sure, Danni may be out of her league but she doesn't just sit back and let the man take over - she is determined to see this through to the end.
