I don't know why it's marked as fiction, but other than that: this was a very interesting, but depressing read. Although he adds some bits of hopfulness into his philosophy, it really does not help. Especially the bit about suicide is challenging, although I enjoyed his evaluation of it: committing suicide is not seen as an act of cowardice, but as logical and rational choice and he argues accordingly.

The last bit (which contains aphorisms) I found to be a bit annoying, but only because I don't like texts that are structured into very small parts.

I would've liked to tell him to chill the hell out and don't take life so seriously (a tip I also need to apply more often). Also I do not recommend the book (especially the suicide section) if you're currently in a non-well mental state. It's not going to help to read philosophical arguments pro-suicide. Just go to therapy and figure life's harder truths out later.
